Because the more you love the Quran, the more often you will recite it and/or listen to its recitation.

And the more you recite the Quran and listen to its recitation, the more Quran you will memorize and retain in your memory, in sha Allah.

The best part of loving the Quran is that memorizing it will not seem like a chore, and you will enjoy the process.

اللهم اجعل القرآن العظيم ربيع قلبي، و نور صدري، و جلاء حزني و ذهاب همي Allaahum ej’aleel Qur’an al ‘atheema rabee’a qalbe, wa noora saddree, wa jalaa’ huznee, wa thahaab hamme.
